We got her!

We got Miss Emily! She is so beautiful! She has perfect rose bud lips & long lashes. She is very long too & I am thinking they were right about her weight! She is at least 15 lbs. She came to me pretty easily & was just taking everything in. When I pulled out the cherrios, her little hand dived in & she came out with about 10 & was shoving them in her mouth. When we got back to the room she had about 1/3 of a banana & 1/4 of yogurt. She was so tired & fell asleep for a few minutes but kept waking up. She did start crying & you could tell she was scared. Even when she finally calmed down, she continued to wimper. I had to complete some paperwork in the room & then we went off to eat dinner with the Reed Family. Dinner & ordering the food was an experience. Emily was starving & ate a steamed egg, fried rice & more cherrios. Once her belly was full, she fell fast asleep. She still has not really had a bottle yet, just a few sips. She is still asleep right now, we will see how the night goes. I am so glad that she is a good eater but she is going to have some competition with her big sister. What a blessing she is!
